Mark your calendars for the 2025 Berwick WWII Weekend and please read this message from our event coordination team.
Hello everyone, we are very excited for the upcoming 2025 Berwick WWII Weekend at Test Track Park on South Eaton Street. This year’s dates are Friday July 18th, Saturday July 19th, and Sunday July 20th. We are looking forward to welcoming back all of our returning participants and we hope to see new ones registering as well!. Berwick 2024 was a huge success, thanks to all of you, and we are sincerely grateful that you come out on what is often the hottest weekend of the year to give your time to educating the public about World War II and commemorating the little town of Berwick’s contributions through the American Car & Foundry Company to the War Effort!
Let’s hope that the weather this year is as beautiful as it was last year! Everything you know and love about this event will remain the same. Free registration, a free reenactor BBQ on Friday night, a free for participants swing dance on Saturday, ice and water, running showers,
electricity hookups, and more. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and supportive environment for our reenactors and being able to provide as many amenities as possible.
One thing that will be changing is the theme of this year’s event! Operation Dragoon has been the event theme for the last few years, and with the 80th anniversary having passed in 2024, we are excited to introduce a new theme for 2025. Stay tuned for an announcement about that soon!
Reenactor/Living History participant Registration for the 2025 WWII Weekend will be opening on May 1st and will be done through Google Forms again this year. We will still be providing paper registration forms by request, please email us at BerwickWW2Weekend@gmail.com or message us on Facebook at “Stuart Tank Memorial Association” if you will require a paper form.
There were a record-breaking FIVE Stuart Tanks in attendance at WWII Weekend in 2024! We are confident we can bring all 5 tanks back to the event, and we are aiming to bring in even more! We are able to bring tanks to Berwick through the generous donations of our sponsors, and of people like you! We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributes to bringing this event to life, and to bring more Stuart Tanks “home” to Berwick.
Even if you are an active participant in WWII Weekend, you are still welcome to sponsor the event. Sponsorships and other donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE as STMA is a 501c3 non profit organization! Please email us at BerwickWW2Weekend@gmail.com for sponsorship information. Additionally, military and food vendor registration is already OPEN for 2025 WWII Weekend! If you or someone you know are interested in being a vendor at our event, please reach out directly to our Vendor Coordinators: Jim Shotwell (jim@captjimshotwell.com) or Steve Moorhead (batgrd@aol.com). Alternatively, you may contact STMA Secretary Tom McLaughlin (tomm3a1@gmail.com). Any of these wonderful coordinators will help you get registered and provide you with the necessary forms.
